Appcellent Yazılım Hizmetleri Anonim Şirketi ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the mobile application Darts Scorer & Scorekeeper (the "App"). The App is a darts scoreboard: the scores you enter, the players you name and the matches you play are processed on your device and stay there.

This Privacy Policy explains what the App stores, what leaves your device, and what rights you have. By downloading or using the App, you consent to the practices described here.

1. Your Matches, Players and Statistics

Everything you create while playing — matches, turn-by-turn scores, the names you give players, and the statistics the App derives from them (averages, checkout rates, win rates and similar) — is stored locally on your device.

  • We have no copy of your matches and no way to read them. There is no server involved in scoring; the App works fully offline.
  • Player names are simply labels for the scoreboard. They are never uploaded and are not linked to any account, because there are no accounts.
  • Your match history is included in your device backup if you back up your iPhone, under Apple's terms.
  • Deleting a match inside the App deletes it from your device. Deleting the App removes all of your matches and statistics.

2. Profile Photo

You can optionally add a profile photo in Settings so your avatar appears next to your name on the scoreboard.

  • The photo is chosen through the iOS photo picker, which shows us only the single image you select — the App has no access to the rest of your photo library and does not request photo library permission.
  • The selected photo is resized and stored in the App's private storage on your device. It is never uploaded.
  • You can replace or remove it at any time in Settings; removing it deletes the stored file.

3. Information We Automatically Collect

To understand which features people actually use and to keep the App working properly, we collect a limited amount of technical and usage data. None of it contains your scores, your matches or the names you type.

  • Device information: device model, operating system version, App version and language settings.
  • Usage events: events such as completing onboarding, starting or finishing a game, and whether a purchase screen was shown, dismissed or completed. These are tied to a randomly generated identifier for your installation, not to your name or your Apple ID.
  • Identifiers: that randomly generated installation identifier, and the Identifier for Vendor that iOS gives to apps from the same developer. Neither identifies you personally, and neither is the advertising identifier.

The App does not use the App Tracking Transparency prompt, does not access your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

4. Personal Data and User Input

You do not need an account to use the App, and we do not ask you for your email address or any other identifying information.

  • Customer support: if you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you.
  • Names you type: the name you enter during onboarding and the names you give other players stay on your device.

5. In-App Purchases and Payments

The App offers premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions.

  • Transaction handling: all payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see, receive or store your card details or billing address.
  • Subscription status: we use RevenueCat to validate purchases and to know whether your subscription is active. This is linked to an anonymous installation identifier, not to your Apple ID.
  • Install attribution: if you arrived from an Apple Search Ads campaign, the App reads the attribution token Apple provides for that campaign so we can tell which campaign brought you here. This comes from Apple's own AdServices framework, contains no advertising identifier, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

6. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We work with a small number of service providers who process limited data on our behalf:

  • Mixpanel — product and usage analytics (the anonymous events described in section 3).
  • RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management.
  • Apple — App Store distribution, payments and, if you enable it, iCloud device backup.

These providers are contractually obliged to protect the data and to process it only for us. We may also disclose information if required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or as part of a merger, acquisition or asset sale involving Appcellent Yazılım Hizmetleri Anonim Şirketi.

7. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may be located outside your country of residence. By using the App you acknowledge that the limited data described above may be processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws. We apply appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to those transfers.

8. Data Retention

Analytics and subscription records are retained only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or to meet legal obligations. Support correspondence is kept until your issue is resolved. Your matches are kept on your device for as long as you keep them.

9. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR, KVKK, CCPA and Global)

Depending on where you live — including the European Union, the United Kingdom, Türkiye and California — you have rights over your data:

  • Right of access: you may ask what data we hold about you.
  • Right to deletion: you may ask us to delete it.
  • Right to object: you may object to our processing of usage analytics.

10. Data Deletion Request

You can request deletion of the data held by our providers:

Please include:

  • The type of device you used the App on (iOS)
  • Approximate date of first use

Within 30 days we will delete the associated records from Mixpanel and RevenueCat — except where retention is required by law, such as for tax and accounting purposes — and confirm by email. Matches stored on your device are under your control: delete them in the App, or delete the App.

11. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

12. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App or to legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
